Hello dear friends! I cannot tell you how wonderful it feels to be sitting at my PC this morning. This is something I have really missed over the last few weeks!
It is a couple of weeks post-surgery, and instead of feeling like I have been hit by a Mack Truck, I'm feeling pretty darn good!
Before I go any further, I want to thank all of you who prayed, sent positive affirmations, commented, wrote cards & letters and generally kept the flow of healing energy coming my way! I am very grateful, first, because it has made a huge difference for me and second, because it confirms my belief that the community of bloggers is such a positive, sustaining force for good!
My surgery was a complete success! The cancer was encapsulated within the uterus, so no treatment beyond the complete hysterectomy will be required! Praise God! All that remains is for me to regain my strength and get back to living life! I am still not able to make it through the day without a nap or two, but I am actually enjoying them, so I'll indulge myself for a while longer...
I'm going to try to get around to visit everyone over the next couple of days. And, as my wits continue to gather and allow, I'll post again soon!
Love & Hugs, Chris

ReplyDeleteIt's wonderful to hear that you are recovering well and are in good spirits. Everyday will be a better one and closer to you feeling like yourself again. I will keep thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your day,
Elizabeth
Glad to hear you're on the mend! God Bless!
ReplyDeleteI hope you don't mind- I made your tupperware blog part of my requirements to win a starbucks gift card to help you get more traffic! If you're feeling better and get all the comments approved, I'll make sure that whoever wins also commented on your tupperware blog!
ReplyDeleteI have to have a hysterectomy next week due to a huge fibroid. I'm soooo nervous about it. If you have a moment, I'd love to hear from you directly to assuage my apprehension. (geez, that sounds so formal, doesn't it?? lol) If you have a coherent and free moment, please email me....

Thank you!!!
Wonderful news!! I'm glad you are feeling better but that kind of surgery really knocks the energy out of you, so take it slow and easy. I'm so glad there was a good outcome.
ReplyDeleteI hope you didn't spend a lot of time in worrying. In our family we've adopted the rule that we don't worry unless we know for sure there's something to worry about...and THEN we worry like mad!!
