Prayers Requested!

My Thanksgiving Day was very nice! My daughter & youngest sister did most of the cooking and let me supervise (I wasn't feeling too well). The food and company was wonderful!

As for the rest of the week...not so good!

I found out on Friday morning, that I will need a hysterectomy. So, I am facing a health challenge for a few weeks.

I would really appreciate all your prayers and good thoughts! I have lots of family, friend & church support, but more is better right?

When I feel like I have a better grip on what is happening, I'll write some more about this. Until then, I'll back to my random postings about things I find interesting. Just know that if I seem to go quiet once in a while, I may be doing the lab/doctor/hospital stuff that just wears me out!

Thanks so much! Chris

  1. Hi Chris,

I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry to hear about this. You just take care of yourself. Thank goodness you went to the doctor right away and you found out what was wrong.
    Big hugs for you,

  2. OMG, Chris, I'm so sorry. I'm sending you big hugs, and my thoughts and prayers are definitely being said. Please take the best of care.

  3. Chris!! I'm so sorry to hear about your upcoming surgery. I'm hoping that whatever they found will go away when you have your hysterectomy. You're in my thoughts!!!

  4. I've got you in my heart and in my prayers. I saw a sign yesterday that said, "When all else fails, trust God." Well, that's a stupid philosophy and I was surprised to see it on a church. I think the time to trust God is right from the beginnin~ And I'm trusting him to take care of you and soothe your spirit while you go through this.

  5. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Chris!

  6. Chris, Mary Ruth sent me a link to your blog letting me know about your surgery. You are in my thoughts and prayers for a easy and safe recovery.

  7. Chris, I am so sorry that you are not well. With this procedure, you will soon be back to healthier days. My prayers are with you. blessings, Kathleen

  8. I will be praying for you Chris. And the prayers do work, I am living proof !
I had a friend that had lots of problems and she had to have her tonsils out and a hysterectomy within 6 months time. She said NOBODY needs a tonsillectomy ! But if she had the money she would pay for every woman she knew to have a hysterectomy ! hehehheh. She said she felt so-o-o-o much better after having it .

I'd love to hear your thoughts...
